The Mandarin Oriental Residences at 685 Fifth Avenue is a renovated and enlarged 20-story building containing 65 ultra luxury condominium units located in the heart of Manhattan, just south of Central Park and just north of Rockefeller Center.  The steel and concrete office building was originally constructed in 1926, with an addition constructed in 2000. This new expansion and renovation included converting 15 existing floors into residential units and the addition of 10 floors and a mechanical penthouse.
